Lets take a look at the passage that requires us to take part in this meal.

NIV John 6:53 Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.

We can not just nibble at this meal that Christ offers us. Please take a look at this same passage again in the Message Translation.

A Little ‘Christ In Us’ Is Not Enough

MSG John 6:53 But Jesus didn’t give an inch. “Only insofar as you eat and drink flesh and blood, the flesh and blood of the Son of Man, do you have life within you. 54 The one who brings a hearty appetite to this eating and drinking has eternal life and will be fit and ready for the Final Day.

Unfortunately today’s churches put their sheep on a Starvation Diet. A believer needs a full serving of Christ to be ready on the final day. We need more than a little bit of ‘Christ in us’ to make us ready on the last day. Why do today’s church leaders think it is Ok to give the Body of Christ a small taste of the bread and sip of juice to replace a real meal? Why do they presume that they can replace a authentic experience – time to seek and share the Holy Spirit with this manufactured imitation? Why do they presume that they can replace this time of seeking and sharing Christ with their self serving monologues? The answer is both simple and very damming for these leaders. This contrived ceremony is the only way that today’s fallen priestclass can retain their total control of worship! This contrived process is the only way that they can keep the Holy Spirit from his rightful position as the true leader of the gathering. The real problem is that today’s church leaders are not seeker-followers they are Presumer – Performers

In the same way that today’s communion services are a hollow shell of the original believer gathering meal; the modern church service is a hollow shell of the true Biblical gathering. Believer Gathering Essentials

At todays church services [really church performances] men are exalted, and the Holy Spirit is completely programmed out of control.

At biblical gatherings, Christ is exalted, and The Holy Spirit is clearly in control. No man can [or should] control these authentic gatherings!

Dear God,

Please reveal the audacity and the blindness of todays ordained priesthood to all your flock, and help them to turn to you, to bring a hearty appetite to this meal, to make us all fit and ready on the final day! In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

P.S. Now I understand more about this priest class. Pastors Are Not God’s Shepherds! Really, the whole process of men convincing men to choose to follow Christ is completely misguided. Men do not choose to follow Christ.
