Are Ex-Pastors Coming Out Of Babylon

I’m working my way thru Daniel 7 when I’m led to study ex pastors. I think that some of these men might really hearing God’s call to come out from today’s Pagan Church system. Some seem to be rejecting our false Babylonian Churches.

I came across this post in John Mark Ministries that discusses why people leave their pastor roles.

John Mark Ministries estimates that for every working pastor in Australia there is one who has decided to move on.   There is another great post from Christianity Today that discusses our happy shiny pastors.

http://blog.christianitytoday.com/outofur/archives/2007/05/shiny_happy_pas.html

The article reports:

“Eighty-seven percent of clergy said they were “very satisfied” with their work, compared with an average 47 percent for all workers. Sixty-seven percent reported being “very happy,” compared with an average 33 percent for all workers.

“They look at their occupation as a calling,” Carroll said. “A pastor does get called on to enter into some of the deepest moments of a person’s life, celebrating a birth and sitting with people at times of illness or death. There’s a lot of fulfillment.”

They then ask, Can this possibly be true, and list these contradictory statistics:

“? Fifteen hundred pastors leave the ministry each month due to moral failure, spiritual burnout, or contention in their churches.

? Fifty percent of pastors’ marriages will end in divorce.

? Eighty percent of pastors and eighty-four percent of their spouses feel unqualified and discouraged in their role as pastors.

? Fifty percent of pastors are so discouraged that they would leave the ministry if they could, but have no other way of making a living.

? Eighty percent of seminary and Bible school graduates who enter the ministry will leave the ministry within the first five years.

? Seventy percent of pastors constantly fight depression.”

They go on to ask “what is the truth? Are pastors the happiest and most satisfied people in the world, or the least? Are the statistics about pastoral burn-out and depression inflated?”

I have to ask you why you are so surprised to hear these stark contrasts when Pastors are a A Profession Of Deceived Deceivers

Let’s look at one particular pastor who was finally able to hear Gods voice calling him out from the deception.

Why I Left the Pastorate  by Gary Welter

Gary explains that the veil was lifted from his eyes, that he could finally see that he was among the religious leaders that are “keeping the people in religious bondage by promoting their own positions of authority and control … But the Lord persists and brings to my mind the hundreds of faces of the faithful people attending the church services week by week; they’re loyal, kind, and obedient. They sit quietly with a sense of anticipation while a few of us perform as best we can on a stage. On que, they write their tithe checks, even the elderly who live on social security. They listen patiently to the sermon, hoping it’s not too long.” They line up and leave with a hand shake and a hug, and they’ll be back next week to do it all over again. And I began to cry, “Lord, there’s got to be more to your church than this!”

More sermon preparation. This time I come across John 5:39-40 where Jesus said, “You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.” And, again, I sense that the Lord is confronting me:

Finally Gary was able to hear God’s voice after many years as a Presumer performer he finally became a seeker follower! Are You A Presumer – Performer?

I was afraid that we didn’t have much time left. I  thought the sixth seal would occur in 2012 Our Spiritual Horizon, The Sixth Seal and all those who remain in this fallen church system will suffer God’s punishment Come Out From Babylon, From Today’s Harlot Church.   Now I see that my date setting was misguided.  We are each given the same opportunity to recognize and turn from this deception, our lives on this Earth!!!  If we continue both worshiping and taking the mark of the beast at our Lukewarm churches, we too will be vomited out of Jesus’ mouth at the separation of the sheep and goats.  Those invited to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb are going to sit in the kingdom of God.  Those who refused to turn from deliberate sin will see the day of the Lord and his awesome wrath!!!

Dear God,

Please touch the hearts of all who will seek you, and protect them from these pretenders, and their Babylonian churches. Please show them the deceptions of  our Lukewarm  harlot churches. Please help them to to hear your call to come out from Babylon.  In Jesus name we Pray, Amen.

Glenn
