Simon The Sorcerer’s Modern Day Disciples

I used to think all Pastors who Fleeced their flocks, accepting pay to lead folks to God were all blasphemers of the Holy Spirit, headed for the day of God’s wrath, God’s fiercest judgment. But this next passage tells that there are a few even from the army of the north who will sit in the Kingdom of God [receiving the reward of the prophet]!

AMP Luk 13:20-30

20 And again He said, To what shall I liken the kingdom of God?

21 It is like leaven which a woman took and hid in three measures of wheat flour or meal until it was all leavened (fermented).

22 [Jesus] journeyed on through towns and villages, teaching, and making His way toward Jerusalem.

23 And someone asked Him, Lord, will only a few be saved (rescued, delivered from the penalties of the last judgment, and made partakers of the salvation by Christ)? And He said to them,

24 Strive to enter by the narrow door [force yourselves through it], for many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able.

25 When once the Master of the house gets up and closes the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door [again and again], saying, Lord, open to us! He will answer you, I do not know where [what household—certainly not Mine] you come from.

26 Then you will begin to say, We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.

27 But He will say, I tell you, I do not know where [what household—certainly not Mine] you come from; depart from Me, all you wrongdoers!

28 There will be weeping and grinding of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves being cast forth (banished, driven away).

29 And [people] will come from east and west, and from north and south, and sit down (feast at table) in the kingdom of God.

30 And behold, there are some [now] last who will be first [then].

The people who haven’t pushed thru Jesus’ gate, who continue doing wrong [evil], those not in relationship, not in Jesus’ household [sheepfold] are not allowed in the Kingdom of God. These people even think they have been communing with the Lord but they are mistaken [like most of today’s churchgoers]. Still this passage declares that some from the north will enter the kingdom of God. I understand the the the army from the north are the locusts that come up from the bottomless pit, the Laodicean “rule over” priest class, the scorpions!

[Not certain on this, but now seeing the Northerners as any paid spiritual leaders, not only Christian, but all men deeming themselves worthy to accept funds to lead others to God. The folk from the east and the west are the folks of the world. The folks from the south are the repentant and humble, the lambs, the sheep and those on the narrow way. A full post developing this is coming soon, Lord Willing]

I think the passage below separates the guilty from the innocent in the priest class. Those who admit that they are blind, simple men [not called of God] just choosing this preacher job as a way to make a living, God declares innocent. Those who say they are called of God are saying that they have spiritual eyes to see. These folks God considers guilty.

AMP John 9:39-41

39 Then Jesus said, I came into this world for judgment [as a Separator, in order that there may be separation between those who believe on Me and those who reject Me], to make the sightless see and to make those who see become blind.

40 Some Pharisees who were near, hearing this remark, said to Him, Are we also blind?

41 Jesus said to them, If you were blind, you would have no sin; but because you now claim to have sight, your sin remains. [If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but because you insist, We do see clearly, you are unable to escape your guilt.]

This ties in with those given much, much is expected and Jame’s warning to church leaders. The leaders who have not yet turned from pride and self-ambition to doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom are headed for God’s stricter judgment.

KJV James 3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. Full Passage: James 3 AMP

The next passage speaks to the pharisees to show them how they can turn from their filthy self righteousness, to begin to grasp God’s righteousness.

Amp Luke 11:38-54

38 The Pharisee noticed and was astonished [to see] that Jesus did not first wash before dinner.

39 But the Lord said to him, Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the plate, but inside you yourselves are full of greed and robbery and extortion and malice and wickedness.

40 You senseless (foolish, stupid) ones [acting without reflection or intelligence]! Did not He Who made the outside make the inside also?

41 But [dedicate your inner self and] give as donations to the poor of those things which are within [of inward righteousness] and behold, everything is purified and clean for you.

42 But woe to you, Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and every [little] herb, but disregard and neglect justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done without leaving the others undone.

43 Woe to you, Pharisees! For you love the best seats in the synagogues and [you love] to be greeted and bowed down to in the [public] marketplaces.

44 Woe to you! For you are like graves which are not marked or seen, and men walk over them without being aware of it [and are ceremonially defiled].

45 One of the experts in the [Mosaic] Law answered Him, Teacher, in saying this, You reproach and outrage and affront even us!

46 But He said, Woe to you, the lawyers, also! For you load men with oppressive burdens hard to bear, and you do not personally [even [q]gently] touch the burdens with one of your fingers.

47 Woe to you! For you are [r]rebuilding and repairing the tombs of the prophets, whom your fathers killed (destroyed).

48 So you bear witness and give your full approval and consent to the deeds of your fathers; for they actually killed them, and you rebuild and repair monuments to them [[GEadd monuments to prophets are today’s worldly lord over priest class churches!!]].

49 For this reason also the wisdom of God said, I will send them prophets and apostles, [some] of whom they will put to death and persecute,

50 So that the blood of all the prophets shed from the foundation of the world may be charged against and required of this age and generation,

51 From the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was slain between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, it shall be charged against and required of this age and generation.

52 Woe to you, lawyers (experts in the Mosaic Law)! For you have taken away the key to knowledge; you did not go in yourselves, and you hindered and prevented those who were entering.

53 As He left there, the scribes and the Pharisees [followed Him closely, and they] began [s]to be enraged with and set themselves violently against Him and to draw Him out and provoke Him to speak of many things,

54 Secretly watching and plotting and lying in wait for Him, to seize upon something He might say [that they might accuse Him].

When those ordained of men, the proud, self ambitious, ‘of the world’ preachers hear these rebukes they in their self righteousness declare themselves innocent. This is the strong delusion that God describes in:

NLT 2 Thessalonians 2:10-13

He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them. So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies. Then they will be condemned for enjoying evil rather than believing the truth. …

The truth is that all men are born spiritually blind. That God gives us plenty of time [20 years – God’s Age of Accountability – 20 Years] to get a grip on our blindness, to humble ourselves and recognize our state – pitiful, blind, naked. Only after the age of 20 are we exposed to his God’s wrath!

YLT Rev 3:15-22

15 I have known thy works, that neither cold art thou nor hot; I would thou wert cold or hot.

16 So — because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to vomit thee out of my mouth;

17 because thou sayest — I am rich, and have grown rich, and have need of nothing, and hast not known that thou art the wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked,

18 I counsel thee to buy from me gold fired by fire, that thou mayest be rich, and white garments that thou mayest be arrayed, and the shame of thy nakedness may not be manifest, and with eye-salve anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see.

19 `As many as I love, I do convict and chasten; be zealous, then, and reform;

20 lo, I have stood at the door, and I knock; if any one may hear my voice, and may open the door, I will come in unto him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

21 He who is overcoming — I will give to him to sit with me in my throne, as I also did overcome and did sit down with my Father in His throne.

22 He who is having an ear — let him hear what the Spirit saith to the assemblies.’

If we hear Jesus knocking and open the door, he will sup with us. Only after God shows us how truly wretched miserable poor blind and naked we are can we truly hear and respond to his knock.

Isaiah’s first words after telling the Lord, Here I am send me! Are a warning to us. We all come into this world spiritually blind and dull. We just don’t get it. We think we are so smart.

YLT Is 6:8 And I hear the voice of the Lord, saying: `Whom do I send? and who doth go for Us?’ And I say, `Here [am] I, send me.’

9 And He saith, `Go, and thou hast said to this people, Hear ye — to hear, and ye do not understand, And see ye — to see, and ye do not know.

10 Declare fat the heart of this people, And its ears declare heavy, And its eyes declare dazzled, Lest it see with its eyes, And with its ears hear, and its heart consider, And it hath turned back, and hath health.’

11 And I say, `Till when, O Lord?’ And He saith, `Surely till cities have been wasted without inhabitant, And houses without man, And the ground be wasted — a desolation,

12 And Jehovah hath put man far off, And great [is] the forsaken part in the heart of the land.

13 And yet in it a tenth, and it hath turned, And hath been for a burning, As a teil-tree, and as an oak, that in falling, Have substance in them, The holy seed [is] its substance!’

God has put man far off, giving us fat hearts, heavy ears and dazzled eyes til the destruction is complete. Still God chooses a tenth to brings out from this confusion!!!

Dear God,

Please help us to better understand these folks from the north that find your reward in the Kingdom of God. In Jesus mighty name we pray, Amen.

Glenn

P.S. Quick reference for the reward of the prophet and the reward of the Righteous in Matthew

AMP Matt 8:10-13 The Reward of the Righteous and Matt 8:24-30 The Reward of the Prophet

10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed. Turning to those who were following him, he said, “I tell you the truth, I haven’t seen faith like this in all Israel! 11 And I tell you this, that many Gentiles will come from all over the world—from east and west—and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the feast in the Kingdom of Heaven. 12 But many Israelites[YLT sons of the reign – spiritual ruling class]—those for whom the Kingdom was prepared—will be thrown into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

13 Then Jesus said to the Roman officer, “Go back home. Because you believed, it has happened.” And the young servant was healed that same hour. …

30 And behold, there are some [now] last who will be first [then], and there are some [now] first who will be last [then].

These folks think they are communing with the Lord, but they are continuing in doing wrong [evil].. They are of another houshold! The Lord doesn’t know them. Only those who come through the narrow door the Gate of Christ [John 10]. The self righteous are rejected as being of another household. The truly humble repentant seeker is not rejected [Ps 51] but the proud self ambitious will are under the grand deception.

Here is a sister passage in Luke on the Reward of the Prophet:

AMP Luke 13:20-30

He will answer you, I do not know where [[m]what household—certainly not Mine] you come from.

26 Then you will begin to say, We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.

27 But He will say, I tell you, I do not know where [[n]what household—certainly not Mine] you come from; depart from Me, all you wrongdoers!

30 And behold, there are some [now] last who will be first [then], and there are some [now] first who will be last [then].

Thinking this sitting on the throne with Jesus is the reward of the prophet!

AMP Rev 3:19 `As many as I love, I do convict and chasten; be zealous, then, and reform;
