Babylon Scatters The Sheep Drawing The Fury Of The Lord

What is this scattering?

This refers to the dispersion of true God seekers outside the established church. Those seeking God with all their hearts have been able to hear his call to leave their impure Pastor-Pew Sitter gatherings and flee to the mountains [Rev 6:6]. I think the end of the scattering is marked by the fall of Babylon[the harlot church]. This also coresponds to when the Laodicean church is vomited out of Christ’s mouth [Rev 3:16], and the time of fury of the Lord.  Dismantling The City, Richard L. Jone’s Dream

Who does the scattering?

Ez 34:15 I myself will tend my sheep and give them a place to lie down in peace, says the Sovereign LORD. 16 I will search for my lost ones who strayed away, and I will bring them safely home again. I will bandage the injured and strengthen the weak. But I will destroy those who are fat and powerful. I will feed them, yes—feed them justice! 17“And as for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign Lord says to his people: I will judge between one animal of the flock and another, separating the sheep from the goats. 18Isn’t it enough for you to keep the best of the pastures for yourselves? Must you also trample down the rest? Isn’t it enough for you to drink clear water for yourselves? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet?

19 Why must my flock eat what you have trampled down and drink water you have fouled? 20 “Therefore, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will surely judge between the fat sheep and the scrawny sheep . 21 For you fat sheep pushed and butted and crowded my sick and hungry flock until you scattered them to distant lands.

God is angry at these fat sheep. They have kept the best pastures for themselves and trampled down the rest. They have pushed out the sick and hungry, and fouled the clear water with their feet.

NLT Nahum 3:18

Your shepherds are asleep, O Assyrian king [Assyria represents the proud cities – the proud churches; the Laodiceans, not the persecuted church of Smyrna, not the weak humble churches of Philadelphia]; your princes lie dead in the dust. Your people are scattered across the mountains with no one to gather them together.

The fat sheep and Assyrian shepherds [the proud church leaders] are responsible for the scattering! This next passages spells it out more clearly. The Lord is angry with the shepherds.

NLT Zechariah 13:7

[The Scattering of the Sheep] “Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, the man who is my partner,”says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.“Strike down the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn against the lambs.

This passage really spells it out for us. The Lord will strike down the shepherds, his partners,  with his sword, his word of truth. They the sheep will be scattered! The next two passages in Jeremiah really bring us to the truth. The leaders of God’s people, his shepherds will be judged. They have destroyed and scattered the sheep that they were supposed to care for!

Jer 23:1 “What sorrow awaits the leaders of my people—the shepherds of my sheep—for they have destroyed and scattered the very ones they were expected to care for,” says the LORD. 2 Therefore, this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says to these shepherds : “Instead of caring for my flock and leading them to safety, you have deserted them and driven them to destruction. Now I will pour out judgment on you for the evil you have done to them.

If that’s not clear enough Jeremiah spells it out again, a few chapters later.

Jer 25:34 Weep and moan, you evil shepherds ! Roll in the dust, you leaders of the flock! The time of your slaughter has arrived; you will fall and shatter like a fragile vase. 35 You will find no place to hide; there will be no way to escape. 36 Listen to the frantic cries of the shepherds . The leaders of the flock are wailing in despair, despair, for the LORD is ruining their pastures. 37 Peaceful meadows will be turned into a wasteland by the LORD’s fierce anger.

Notice who is told to weep, the evil shepherds!  They will fall and shatter like a fragile vase.  There will be no place to hide, and no way to escape.  Their meadows, their congregations will be turned into a wastland by the Lord’s anger.

Who gets scattered?

A quick look at the last two passages makes it clear, the sheep are scattered.

When did the scattering  start? I think this started when the abomination was re-established in the holy place, when the priest class system, the ‘Lord over’ professional priesthood began to rule over the laity. I believe that Jesus destroyed the Priest class system at the sixth bowl [John 10:1-17]. This passage explaines Jesus’ distinction between a good shepherd and a hired hand. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for his sheep. The hired hand runs away when the wolf comes because he is only working for money. I believe this  abomination, the priest class working for money was set up in the Holy Place in 722 AD. Phrophecy Timeline

When will the scattering  finish?

Daniel 12 says the scattering ends and the blessing ensues at the end of the 1335 years.  That will be at the wedding supper of the Lamb in 2057 [ 722 + 1335]. The time of trials begins at the 1290 year mark.   If my timeline is correct, that will be in 2012 [722 + 1290].

Prophecy of the End Time

Dan 12:1 At that time Michael shall stand up,  The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people;  And there shall be a time of trouble[sixth seal],  Such as never was since there was a nation,  Even to that time.  And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. 2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, [the 6th trumpet includes the separation of the sheep and the goats. All those alive at the the 6th seal will be judged. Those who helped the poor and weak will remain while the proud will be removed.] Some to shame and everlasting contempt.  3 Those who are wise shall shine  Like the brightness of the firmament,  And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.

4 But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase. 5 Then I, Daniel, looked; and there stood two others, one on this riverbank and the other on that riverbank. 6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders be? 7 Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished.

8 Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, My lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.

11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

13 But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.

Pastors: A Profession Of Deceived Deceivers

How are the wise to respond?

Don’t delay:

Mat 24:15 “The day is coming when you will see what Daniel the prophet spoke about―the sacrilegious object that causes desecration standing in the Holy Place.[resurected levitical priesthood, Nicolaitans, cut off daily sacrifice, the belivers communion with the Holy Spirit]” (Reader, pay attention!) 16 “Then those in Judea[the church] must flee to the hills[from the established church system]. 17 A person out on the deck of a roof must not go down into the house to pack. 18 A person out in the field must not return even to get a coat[Run away, don’t go back to say goodby or you might share her punishment-see below]. 19 How terrible it will be for pregnant women and for nursing mothers in those days. 20 And pray that your flight will not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For there will be greater anguish than at any time since the world began. And it will never be so great again. 22 In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, not a single person will survive. But it will be shortened for the sake of God’s chosen ones.

The coming punishment:

NLT Ez 5:12 A third of your people will die in the city[church] from disease and famine. A third of them will be slaughtered by the enemy outside the city[church] walls. And I will scatter a third to the winds, chasing them with my sword.14 “So I will turn you into a ruin, a mockery in the eyes of the surrounding nations and to all who pass by. 15 You will become an object of mockery and taunting and horror. You will be a warning to all the nations around you. They will see what happens when the LORD punishes a nation in anger and rebukes it, says the LORD. 16 “I will shower you with the deadly arrows of famine to destroy you. The famine will become more and more severe until every crumb of food is gone. 17 And along with the famine, wild animals will attack you and rob you of your children. Disease and war will stalk your land, and I will bring the sword of the enemy against you. I, the LORD, have spoken!”

More specifics on the third that survives:

Zch 13:8 Two-thirds of the people in the land will be cut off and die,” says the LORD. “But one-third will be left in the land. 9 I will bring that group through the fire and make them pure. I will refine them like silver and purify them like gold. They will call on my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘These are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The LORD is our God.’

So 2/3 of churchgoers are going to be cut off and die! A third from disease and famine, and the a third will be slaughtered by the enemy. This remaining third will be refined by fire, by trials. Wouldn’t it be better to seek and follow God’s call. He is calling us today to come out of Babylon, to come out from our harlot churches.  Come Out From Babylon, From Today’s Harlot Church

Dear God,

Please help us to turn from our idols, to humbly repent and seek you, to seek your will, and your glory. Deliver us from our worldly stupor, from our reliance on tradition, and our reliance on men. Help us to rely on you and your Holy Spirit, In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen.
