Understanding The Devil’s Mark Of The Beast

Let’s first take a look at the passage that discusses taking the mark of the beast. The [[double brackets]] are my addition to the Amplified text.

AMP Rev 13;16 Also he compels all [alike], both small and great, both the rich and the poor, both free and slave, to be marked with an inscription [stamped] on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 So that no one will have power to buy[[earn their way into God’s Priesthood]] or sell [[thinking to lead others into God’s Priesthood]] unless he bears the stamp (mark, inscription), [that is] the name of the beast or the number of his name. 18 Here is [room for] discernment [a call for the wisdom of interpretation]. Let anyone who has intelligence (penetration and insight enough) calculate the number of the beast, for it is a human number [the number of a certain man]; his number is 666.

This buying and selling is talking about trying to buy and sell God.  If we are trying to buy our way into God’s priesthood or sell –  leading others into God’s priesthood  we are taking the mark of the beast.   The New Testament is clear, true spiritual giving, building treasure in heaven, is giving to the poor.  Those assigning these offerings to themselves or to others have been corrupted.  Many are  accepting the mark of the beast.  This passage calls us to wisdom of interpretation and penetrating insight. These words should warn us that understanding this passage is crucial.  Unfortunately, most are content with the spoon feedings of God’s word that we receive at our Lukewarm Churches

Rev 14 talks about statue of the Beast. Other translations say the image of the Beast, but what are they talking about?

AMP Rev 14:9Whoever pays homage to the beast and his statue and permits the [beast’s] stamp (mark, inscription) to be put on his forehead or on his hand,

I think that the beast is the Roman Catholic priest class system. Is Pope Antichrist? The stature [image] of the beast is today’s protestant priest class and their worldly structures.  If we join either of these priest classes, oppressing those below us,  aligning with the worldly church structures, we too have the mark.

All ordained ministers of the beast[the Catholic church] or his image[the protestant church] have the Mark of the Beast. This priest class is the head of the sea beast that received the mortal wound in Rev13:3. I believe that Jesus removed the old professional Levitical priest class with the words of the sixth bowl, John 10:1-17, and his sacrifice on the cross. There were no “professional” paid priests for many years after that.   In fact the Didache, written about 100AD,  declares any preacher who accepts money for himself should not be listened to.  Jesus says in John 10:7 “All who came before me were thieves and liars” but somehow these proud self ambitious men came back into power (were resurrected).

Today’s  resurrected Levitical Priests exalt themselves like the teachers of the Law in Mat 23:11-13, and stand between God and his followers refusing to follow the servant slave leader model [Mat 20:25-28],  refusing to do good with the humility that comes from wisdom[Jam 3;1-13], taking advantage of the simple trust of Believers [Mat 18:6-7],  and refusing to build on the foundation that Paul establish[1 Cor 3:10-15], they twist Paul’s teachings[2 Peter 3:16],  rob the poor and widows for their sustainment [Luke 20:47], and  refuse to sacrifice their lives for the sheep [John 10:1-10]: these men are headed for destruction!

We are talking in spiritual truths here. We need to have a spiritual perspective to understand. This passage helps us to see why we’ve fallen so far off track

NIV 2 Peter 1;19 And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation. 21 For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Biblical prophesies are the words of the Holy Spirit. They are to be interpreted spiritually, interpreted from God’s perspective, not from a fleshly [human] perspective. We have been relying on spiritual frauds [Presumer – Performers]to explain spiritual truths for generations! [The Holy Spirit gives us the keys to interpreting these words in other Scriptures and thru seeking him and seeing with spiritual eyes. Seeing Straight, Seeing With Spiritual Eyes

The Jew missed the Messiah because they were looking with worldly eyes. They were expecting a worldly leader, but the Holy Spirit was talking about a spiritual leader.

NLT Is 9;4 For you will break the yoke of their slavery and lift the heavy burden from their shoulders. You will break the oppressor’s rod, just as you did when you destroyed the army of Midian.[the spiritual aggressors were the levitical priesthood] 5 The boots of the warrior and the uniforms bloodstained by war will all be burned. They will be fuel for the fire. 6 For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Jesus broke his followers free from spiritual aggressors. He freed them from the fallen priest class of his day. Unfortunately this priest class was re-established and now stands as the norm.

Those Given much, much is expected

NIV Luke 12;47 “That servant who knows his master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be beaten with many blows. 48 But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.

We must seek the Master’s will.  We are called to seek him with all our heart, our soul, our mind and our strength.  We must remember, God sees thru to our deepest motives, even the ones that we don’t like to admit to ourselves! I do believe that it is possible for a person to live their entire lives and still not understand the deception behind today’s organized churches. This is a sad thing. I’m certain that the Holy Spirit is trying to reveal the truth, but most are not listening. I seriously doubt that this error will bring on God’s harshest wrath.

The Dangers of the Last Days

NKJV 2 Tim 3:1-9

1 You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. 5 They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!6 They are the kind who work their way into people’s homes and win the confidence of vulnerable women who are burdened with the guilt of sin and controlled by various desires. 7 (Such women are forever following new teachings, but they are never able to understand the truth.) 8 These teachers oppose the truth just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses. They have depraved minds and a counterfeit faith. 9 But they won’t get away with this for long. Someday everyone will recognize what fools they are, just as with Jannes and Jambres.

After this time of recognition, I suspect in 2012, everyone will recognize these deceivers. If we do not separate from them, if we do not run from Judea we will share in the punishment of this priest class.  We will be vomited out of Jesus’ mouth with these deceivers who act religious, love pleasure, are puffed up with pride, and reject the power that could make them holy.

Let’s take a look at Abraham’s reward for obedience.

NLT Gen 22;16 “This is what the LORD says: Because you have obeyed me and have not withheld even your son, your only son, I swear by my own name that 17 I will certainly bless you. I will multiply your descendants beyond number, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will conquer the cities of their enemies. 18 And through your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed all because you have obeyed me.”

This passage, this promise to Abraham is not talking fleshly descendants of Abraham, but spiritual descendants – people of faith. This verse in Galations makes this clear.

NIV Gal 3;6 Consider Abraham : “He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” 7 Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham. 8 The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.” 9 So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

– clearly these descendants of Abraham are spiritual descendants, those who have faith in God and trust him. If we are really following God, his word and his spirit we will eventually see what our assignment is. We will come out from America’s Fallen Churches . We will understand Our Assignment – To Ignore Todays Blind Leaders
