The Lesson Of Cain, God Chooses Us

Clearly Cain desired God’s approval, but his offering was rejected. What was really going on here? Lets look at what the Bible says.

NLT Heb 11;5 It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying—”he disappeared, because God took him.” For before he was taken up, he was known as a person who pleased God. 6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. 7 It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about things that had never happened before. By his faith Noah condemned the rest of the world, and he received the righteousness that comes by faith.

Those who please God have faith and believe that God rewards those who sincerely seek him.

Love One Another

1 John 3;11 This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another. 12 We must not be like Cain , who belonged to the evil one and killed his brother. And why did he kill him? Because Cain had been doing what was evil, and his brother had been doing what was righteous. 13 So don’t be surprised, dear brothers and sisters, if the world hates you. 14 If we love our Christian brothers and sisters, it proves that we have passed from death to life. But a person who has no love is still dead.

The reason that Cain was rejected was that he continued doing evil, he still belonged to the evil one’. He was full of jealousy and pride.

We join God’s team not by saying so with our voices, but by living our lives seeking God; listening to his Holy Spirit and humbly applying his word in our lives. Spiritual Maturity

When we seek and follow him, he can live in us and make us into a new creation. Drinking The Living Water These sinners prayers that we hear at Today’s Weak Churches actually disrespect God.

Dear God,

Please forgive our ignorance, and help us to turn from this ambitious jealous priesthood! In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.
