The Three Sins of Today’s Churches

1. They act like the Holy Spirit is dead. Let me assure you that he is alive and well! Unfortunately Churches rob his leading role at their worship gathering and give it to a man. This is not only un-scriptural, it disrespects God! It disrespects Jesus’ sacrifice. Is Christ The Head Of Today’s Church

2. They treat God as a wimp. They don’t fear the almighty creator of the universe with holy awe and reverence. The God they serve is weak, unable even to really change them, unable to transform them into a new creation. They say they believe but the evidence, the fruit testifies against them. They ever refuse to honor direct commands of the Lord!  New Testament Commands

3. They refuse to follow Jesus example as one who serves. Their leaders don’t even pay lip service to Jesus foot washing example.  Jesus Foot Washing Example They choose to reject Jesus leaders requirement, to be the slave to all, the unpaid humble seeker/teacher/shepard, [Pastor’s Pay] content to urge people on towards Christ without prestige title or position, from within the assembly, not exalting themselves above others.  The Deadly Error Of Today’s Church

NLT Matt 23;10 And don’t let anyone call you ‘Teacher,’ for you have only one teacher, the Messiah. 11 The greatest among you must be a servant. 12 But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

We have grown up in the school of low (or is it no?) expectations. These three sins, dishonoring God, dishonoring Jesus and dishonoring the Holy Spirit have greatly contributed to this problem. When we take things out of God’s hands and try our best we are no longer followers Christ. We might even be following the Anti Christ! [Pastoral Virus] We are not carrying our cross. We are not offering our lives in our struggle against sin. We are not turning from our selfish desires, Following the Spirit in all that we do! Following The Spirit’s Leading In Every Part Of Our Lives

Dear God,

Please turn us back to you, to your truth, to your power, and to claim trust and live in the midst of your promises and to follow the Holy Spirit!
