How Does our Conscience Work?
The following is a summary of what the Bible says about How our Conscience Works.
1. To keeping a clear/clean conscience: absolutely trust God, living fully confidant in his Wisdom, his Power, and his Goodness, never offending God or men, turning from worldly and fleshly desires, confidant that our baptism (our new life in Christ) cleanses us before God and will give us peace.
2. A sound healthy pure conscience fills our whole body with light & purity, but dark deeds destroy our conscience. Stay far from temptation, and when we sin repent quickly.
3. Keeping a clear/clean conscience requires we render to all men their due, never wounding or damaging other’s weak conscience.
4. Our conscience is enlightened and prompted by the Holy Spirit. God’s grace takes over when we abandon fleshly wisdom & have sincere, Godly, & pure motives
5. When we speak God’s Word accurately clearly truthfully we develop people’s consciences. Gifts and sacrifices can’t perfect the conscience. A clear conscience comes from living an upright, honest, noble, life of honor and constantly seeking his approval.
All these passages are from the Bible. To help you see how this developed I Present these Passages.
