God’s Plumbline of Righteousness

KJV Is 28:16-22

16Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

17Judgment also will I lay to the [[plumb]] line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

18And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

19From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.

20For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.

21For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim[[where God smote David enemies as like the breaking forth of waters]], he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon[[where Gideon some Jericho]], that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.

22Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.

This passage is talking about the easy salvation gospel that is preached in virtually all of todays churches. This is “your covenant with death”. Even todays “better” churches tell their parishioners that those who spend and hour a week in church, give to God by giving to us, serve God by serving us are headed for heaven. This is the covenant with death. The bible includes so many warnings about Bad Preachers [God’s Shepherd Warning], about Deceived Deceivers, that those who refuse to listen fully deserve the wrath coming their way!! God’s Holy Spirit is reaching out to them morning by morning day and night, trying to show them that there bed is too small, that their covering is too narrow to save them. This strange work that God is doing, this grand deception that he sends to those who have no love for the truth washes them away. Those who believe not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness will fall away [2 Thess 2:3-12].  Until they humble themselves and seek God with their whole heart, they will remain the sleeping drunks asleep to the Holy Spirit and drunk on false doctrines!!

What really is God’s Plumb line of righteousness?

I believe that there are 6 verses that deal directly with God’s Plumb line of Righteousness. There are probably more, but these have been revealed to me. I’ll first post these six verses and review the key points. Finally, I’ll post the remaining verses that mention the Plumb line in the post script.

KJV Rev 21:7-8

7He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

The names of the folks who are thrown into the lake of fire are not found in the Book of Life[KJV Rev 20:15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.]. This list of terms is very similar to the next passage.

KJV Rev 22:12-18

12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

These people who have no right to the tree of life are the dogs and the sorcerers[serpents and scorpions – the false preachers and the false prophets]; whoremongers [those who hire prostitutes- churchgoers who support their harlot preachers [Who Is Gog and Magog]; murderers;idolators; and liars.

KJV Eph 5:1-7

1Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

2And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

3But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

4Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

5For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

6Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

7Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

This passage declares that God’s followers have turned from fornication, uncleanness, covetousness, filthiness, foolish talking or joking, whore mongering, and idolatry. They have turned to thankfulness, following God and walking in love. Those who continue on the unclean road are called children of disobedience Church Goers, Children Of Disobedience . They are headed for God’s wrath! Remember God’s promised blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience!!

Matt 19:16-21

16And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

18He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

19Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

20The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

21Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

This similar list is talking about the same people as the previous 3 passages, God’s Plumb line of righteousness. These folks who are not disqualified, who avoid the snares of the children of disobedience are either partakers in the old covenant[headed for the kingdom of heaven], followers of God; or partakers in the new covenant[headed for the kingdom of God], disciples of Jesus. Those who are disciples of Jesus are the very few that walk the narrow path. There are no rich folks on this path. These folks are called to forsake all they have [Luke 14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.]. I trust the bible when it declares that the rich will not inherit the kingdom of God. Even with God’s help men are not going to thread camels thru the eye of a needle!! Most argue that Jesus was speaking these words to a idolatrous greedy persons in Matt 19:24 Mark 10:25 and Luke 18:25. But aren’t all seekers of the kingdom of God told to sell what they have in Luke 12:33?

1 Cor 3:10

8Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

9For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

10According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

11For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

12Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

13Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

14If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

15If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

16Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

The people who build on the foundation that Paul established are saved, both the pure and the impure, both those building with gold silver and precious stones[pure] and those building with wood hay and straw[dishonorable and worldly]. The pure hold on to their reward, the kingdom of God. The dishonorable worldly are not qualified for the kingdom of God, but still measure up to God’s plumb line, still saved in the kingdom of heaven.

Sheep and Goats

KJV Matt 25:31-46

31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

None of the people who sit at this great white throne judgement are Jesus’ disciples. Those folks are not Judged, they never die, they never sleep. This judgement is all about separating those who measure up to God’s Plumbline [the sheep] from those who don’t [the goats].  Before  I  attempt to summarize God’s plumbline I ask you to go to this blog and watch the  6 minute video on the 5 foolish virgins.  It really spells out the problems with the Kingdom of heaven!!!  The Holy Spirit has shown me that this testimony is the truth!!!!

5 foolish virgins

Summary:

Those who are not murderers, not committing adultery, not stealing, not lying, not fornicators, not sorcerers, not isolators; those who take care of the hungry, thirsty, strangers, the naked, the sick and the prisoner measure up to God’s plumbline. They are saved, but if they built on Paul’s foundation[humble tent makers relying on the power of the Holy Spirit] with wood hay and straw [impurity, and dishonor – worldliness, selfishness, and pride], they have lost their reward. They are cast out from the kingdom of God.

Dear God,

I hear your call to pray for harvest hands, to help others see the depth and the breadth of your love and the standards. Help us to share to full extents of your grace and your long-suffering. Deliver us from all today’s worldly doctrines of demons. We trust your promise that heaven holds representatives from every tribe and nation. Help us also to share your awesome righteousness, your strict justice, and your fearful wrath. Help us to plant the seeds of truth, to water the good soil, to seek you more, to follow you closer, to turn from double mindedness seeking only your will and your glory, In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.

P.S. Other Plumb line verses:

KJV Amos 7:8-17

8 And the LORD asked me, “What do you see, Amos? “A plumb line,” I replied. …

9 This is what he showed me: The Lord was standing by a wall that had

been built true to plumb, with a plumb line in his hand. 9. And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.

10. Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.

11. For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.[today’s churches are in the hands of God’s Army from the North]

12. Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:

13. But prophesy not again any more at Bethel: for it is the king’s chapel, and it is the king’s court.

14. Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet’s son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:

15. And the Lord took me as I followed the flock, and the Lord said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.

16. Now therefore hear thou the word of the Lord: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.

17. Therefore thus saith the Lord; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.

Zechariah 4:8-14

8Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

9The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.

10For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet [Plumb line] in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

11Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?

12And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?

13And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

14Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.

2 Kings 21:10-16

10And the LORD spake by his servants the prophets, saying,

11Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:

12Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.

13And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.

14And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;

15Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.

16Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD. ..

Isaiah 34:8-17

8For it is the day of the LORD’s vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.

9And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.

10It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.

11But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness.

12They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none shall be there, and all her princes shall be nothing.

13And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.

14The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.

15There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate.

16Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.

17And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.

KJV Luke 12:29-37

29And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.

30For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.

31But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

32Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

33Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.

34For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

35Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

36And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

37Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
